New to Shia Islam

A warm, gentle guide for seekers and converts 💛

You are welcome here. This is a safe, judgement-free space to learn, ask, and grow at your own pace.

Shia Islam is the path of following Ahlulbayt (A.S) — the household of Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.W) — as the divinely appointed guides of the Muslim community.

The Prophet (S.A.W.W) said: "I leave behind two precious things: the Book of Allah and my Ahlulbayt. If you hold fast to both, you will never go astray."

Shia Muslims believe that Allah appointed Imam Ali (A.S) and the 11 Imams after him as the spiritual and temporal leaders of the Ummah, and that the 12th Imam, Imam Mahdi (A.J), is alive and will return to fill the earth with justice.
